Armande
Armande’s classes stem from her love of music and holistic wellness, concentrating on energetic and bodily awareness. Riding with Armande will reinforce your mental and physical alignment with fluid movement and endurance training. Prepare to begin every class with a mindful intention that is considered throughout your 35-45 minutes on the bike, riding to a thoughtfully curated and diverse playlist of R&B, new and old school Hip Hop, and Armande’s hometown favorite, New Orleans Bounce. In addition to promoting an open mind-body experience at Spiked, Armande incorporates a similar ideology as the Founder, Creative Director, and Designer of her eponymous contemporary womenswear brand, ARMANDE.
Cecilia
CeCe’s goal is to ensure you leave Spiked ready to conquer the world. As a congenital heart defect (CHD) warrior, she is passionate about becoming the healthiest and best version of herself and encompassing all components of wellness. She is a Postdoctoral Fellow in Environmental Pediatrics at Mount Sinai at the Icahn School of Medicine. Her research focuses on chemical and non-chemical stressors associated with respiratory outcomes in children.
Tamika
You will feel energetic and proud when you leave Tamika's class. She will inspire you with powerful words and fire playlists that include hot new songs and a sprinkle of, “Oh, I forgot about that song.” Tamika honors her ‘go-hard’ approach to life. She lives by, “If I’m not doing the most, I’m not doing ENOUGH!!
Wayne
Wayne encourages his riders to show up, turn up, and rock out with the best squad in Brooklyn, Ya Dig! Born and raised as a hooper in Brooklyn, Wayne believes that hip hop and community can empower us.
Jamila
In Brooklyn bred Jamila’s class, you can expect unmatched energy, a playlist that will have you feeling yourself, good vibes, and an intense workout. Think New York swag with HBCU homecoming vibes! Her goal is to create a comfortable space for clients to exceed their goals while asserting body positivity. Jamila further embodies health and wellness as her life’s work, through her career as a Nurse Practitioner.
Sabra
Sabra E. Bailey from Long Island, NY, is a 2013 BFA Dance Education graduate from the University of the Arts. Lovingly known as Slaybra. Booking her first major gig with Def Jam’s Teyana Taylor, Sabra has gone on to tour with Eve, Gwen Stefani, and Chris Brown. As well as appearing in various awards shows, music videos, and films. You can find Slaybra bringing a calm fire to any space. She continues to empower, encourage & entertain!
Stacy
Stacy will push you to the max, and you can thank her for it later. Our resident soca queen, Stacy, is a native of Trinidad and Tobago. After a life-threatening accident that left her paralyzed for almost a year, Stacy found rehabilitation, recovery, and hope in cycling and weight training. Riders in her class will be energized, motivated, and challenged. Her motto is WE Burn It -Build It -Tone it, and WE do it Together.
Serena
When you leave Serena’s class, you should expect to be one step closer to finding your ‘why.’ Serena is an avid believer in the connection between physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. Serena uses a combination of Cali rap, energy, focus, and *POSITIVE VIBES ONLY* to push people toward the best version of themselves. Originally from the Bay Area, Serena currently works as a non-profit consultant and lives in Montclair, NJ, with her husband and two kiddos. Nothing is by accident, so be intentional with your time and surprise yourself with how much work you can get done in 35-45min.
